“Our visit to BABS”
When we arrived at BABS, a home for the elderly, we were very happy to be there. First we sang a song called “All you need is love” by The Beatles. I think the elderly people loved it.
After that we played a very nice game. The game was about General Knowledge, questions and answers. When an elderly person answered correctly we gave him or her a chocolate as a prize and if they got it wrong we gave them some sweets.
Last but not least, we talked with them, and there I met Charlie Biet, who is an elderly Argentinean man. His family is European. Charlie was great fun, because he told us jokes. He was the funniest person I knew this year. He was so funny and so good with us that I have a gift for him, and one of these days I’ll give it to him. I also gave him a bracelet.
My personal opinion is that it was great to visit BABS because we got to know new people and we had great fun talking and playing with them.

“My visit to BABS”
My visit to BABS was so wonderful. Everybody was so happy and friendly. I was so excited when I first heard that we were going there. We even prepared a song and a game and collected a lot of candy at school for the elderly people.
We originally planned to sing three songs, but we had some difficulties and we could just sing one song: “All you need is love” by The Beatles. And we played a game that was a kind of quiz in which we gave big prizes if they answered correctly and smaller prizes if they didn’t. We even got to talk to the elderly people. I talked to a man called Maurice, whose family was from Germany and he had lived in Brazil for a long time because he was a kind of fugitive (I couldn’t understand him well). They even gave us cookies and coke.
I would really like to go back; everybody was so friendly.
